a person’s favorite music can say a lot about them.

it is a piece of them, the best them,

the one you can watch dance.

and it doesn’t matter how good they are at it ,

because it’s them.

the one that made you smile, the best smile you’ve ever smiled,

and you watch them dance around your mind,

lighting up every corner until it’s almost too bright,

full of the happiness they make you feel.

you could be in Hell,

and you wouldn’t even notice because you’re watching them dance.

watching how their eyes light up,

and you dance with them.

and their light engulfs you.

and you’ve never felt happier.

and now your favorite music is their favorite music

because it makes them smile,

and that makes you smile.
